We have worked with many clients to apply a framework for analyzing, developing and implementing a new sales process that has achieved excellent results. An overview of the process is as follows: First, we identify five deals that were recently won and five that were lost. We then implement a series of structured interviews with sales leaders, sales professionals and their customers. Based upon the results of these interviews, we are able to identify without doubt why each client was won, and why other opportunities were lost. With this knowledge we are able to design a new aligned sales process map that, when implemented, produces positive, repeatable, and sustainable sales results.
